This guide explains how to set up the integration between Bardeen and Gong.io using a webhook URL.
Follow these steps to ensure a successful configuration:
Step 1: Enable Autobook in Bardeen
1. Open Bardeen and navigate to the Autobooks section.
2. Select the desired automation and enable it.
3. A popup will appear with a Webhook URL that needs to be added to your Gong account (see image below).
Step 2: Access Gong Company Settings
1. Log in to your Gong account.
2. Click on Company Settings (found at the bottom of the left navigation panel, see image below).
Step 3: Navigate to Automation Rules
1. Under the Ecosystem section, select Automation Rules (see image below).
2. Click on the Add Rule button in the top-right corner.
Step 4: Configure the Automation Rule
1. In the Rule Settings page, follow these steps:
- Set the Trigger to New Call
.
- Under If a call meets the following criteria, ensure it’s set to All Calls
(or add criteria as needed).
- Set the Action to Fire Webhook
- Paste the Webhook URL from the Bardeen popup into the URL field
2. Provide a name for the rule under Rule Name and Description, e.g., Bardeen: watch new calls
.
3. Toggle Enabled to activate the rule.
Step 5: Save the Rule
1. Click Save to finalize the configuration.
2. The rule will now appear in the list of automation rules and will start processing new calls based on the criteria set.
